Georgi Gradev

Georgi Gradev is a distinguished sports lawyer with extensive expertise in football law. He is a Partner at SILA Lawyers and has been actively involved in the field since 2007.
Georgi is a co-founder of SILA (International Association of Sports Lawyers) and has been a member of the IASL Case-Law Committee since 2009. Throughout his career, he has contributed to leading sports law publications, including Football Legal, ASSER International Sports Law Journal, EPFL Sports Law Bulletin, and IASL International Sports Law Review Pandektis, among others.
From 2004 to 2017, he served as the Owner & General Manager of GRADEV SPORTS, a firm specializing in sports law and management. His academic background includes studies at the University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria), the University of Pittsburgh (USA), and Birkbeck, University of London (England), where he obtained a specialization in international sports law in 2009.
In addition to his legal practice, Georgi has contributed to academia as a Visiting Professor at ISDE, Madrid, where he taught in the Master’s in International Sports Law program in 2017.
With nearly two decades of experience in football law, Georgi Gradev is recognized for his deep knowledge and contributions to the legal aspects of the sport.
