Pius C. Ndubuokwu
Pius C. Ndubuokwu is an international Sports Lawyer and a top industry player. He acquired his LLB from the University of Nigeria Nsuka in 2017 before proceeding to the Nigerian law school for his BL. Since then, he has completed an LLM in international Sports Law at the ISDE, Madrid, Spain. He also has a master’s in Business administration from Ohio University, U.S.A and is currently pursuing a Masters in Sports Administration from Ohio University. Pius has achieved numerous milestones. He co-founded the first virtual sports law firm in Africa in 2020. He has handled numerous contractual disputes, training rewards, ITC disputes, and other cases before the FIFA Football Tribunal. Additionally, he has handled complex and novel cases before the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS). Pius was invited to attend the FIFA Football Law Annual Review (FLAR), and he has had the distinction of being physically present at the event. He has also been invited twice by the New York Law School as a judge in its annual soccer law competition. He has advised on numerous transfers in and outside of the continent. Pius represents several prominent football clubs, including a premier club in Tanzania, Botola club in Morocco, 2 Primera Division clubs in Costa Rica, Eyimba FC of Aba, and Lobi Stars of Markurdi and represents over 30 players and coaches. Pius is passionate about the development of the Sports law jurisprudence in Nigeria and actively works to ensure it.
